Kelly Greer

CO-WRITER / DIRECTOR

“I love writing for #WeirdMYAH because it allows me to reflect on my own college experience. The best part of this show is that it’s authentic to our culture and the many young black people that make the HBCU experience memorable.

My favorite character to write is Allanah Haywood hands down. There’s something fun about being a villain. My favorite character to watch, however, is a hard one. I say that only because each actor that has signed on to portray these characters have been phenomenal. You would think some weren’t acting (hint hint). As far as episodes are concerned, my favorite is Episode 2 of the miniseries. It introduces the majority of the characters in that small amount of time, yet it builds a world with characters we all can relate to.” - Kelly Greer
